About Us
Office Background
Tomo Takahashi Architects is an international architectural practice based in Tokyo. Over the past 20 years, we have worked on projects of foreign owners and clients, and dealt with contractors and specialty consultants from around the world. Initially specializing in project management of large scale buildings, the office is now also focusing on design intensive projects of significant ground-up commissions on Japan and other countries.

…As the Japanese phrase “A-UN-NO-KOKYU”, the name “Aung” figuratively expresses the “A-UN” chemistry between the collaborating partners. “Aung” also is a widely known Myanmar name, its origin meaning “succeed” or “success”.
Before aligning with these companies in Japan and Myanmar, “Aung Collaboration” was fomerly a unique expression used for our business cooperation in sync with other architects, contractors, and professionals of various industries around the world.
